Catalog description
This course is a continuation of HEAL 1413. Students will exercise existing knowledge in ICD-10-CM/PCS assignment and apply it to advanced concepts. CPT-4 coding will be introduced as well as an overview in reimbursement methodologies as they apply to U.S. healthcare billing systems. A grade of "C" or better is required for passing.
