Catalog description

Students are introduced to the study of world politics. They will be provided with a framework for analyzing world events and the broader dynamics of the relations among nations. Emphasis will be on theories of international relations, the causes and prevention of war, international law and organizations, international political economy, and the foreign policy process both in the United States and abroad. Attendance at an off-campus event may be required.
