Catalog description

This course provides students with foundational knowledge and hands-on experience in computer hardware, mobile devices, networking, and printer technologies. Emphasis is placed on installing, configuring, and troubleshooting a variety of components and systems. Topics include mobile and desktop hardware, connectivity and networking concepts, virtualization and cloud computing basics, and troubleshooting techniques. This course prepares students for the CompTIA A+ Core 1 certification exam. Prerequisite: CISM 100 IT Fundamentals.
