Computational Statistics

Catalog description

The course will introduce descriptive and inferential statistics to make inferences (conclusions) or generalizations about a population. Topics will include descriptive statistics, basic visualizations, probability theory and distributions, measures of center and spread, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing. Most of the coursework will be completed using the R programming language.
