Catalog description

The focus of this course is to investigate assessment instruments for students with and without special needs. Students select, administer, and interpret nondiscriminatory assessment instruments and learn to use this information to develop curricula and implement appropriate instructional strategies for students with mild and moderate special needs. Students learn to develop I.E.P.s or a 504 Plan from assessment data. Five hours of fieldwork required. Prerequisites: EDU 6000, EDU 6200, EDU 5109.
