Catalog description

This course examines the elements of acting and practical application as they relate to the actor including, but not limited to, emotion; stage movement; vocal techniques; auditions; rehearsal and performance techniques; team building; teamwork; and collaboration. This course prepares students to apply basic acting theory to performance and develops the skills of interpretation of drama through acting. Special attention is paid to skills for performance such as memorization, stage movement, and vocal production.
