This course presents basic theory and rationale for respiratory care. The course includes history and organization of respiratory therapy services, basic cardiopulmonary anatomy and physiology, medical gas therapy theory, aerosols, and an introduction to pathophysiology. Students need to purchase notebook and notebook dividers.
