Jazz/Rock Ensemble

Catalog description

This course is for the study, rehearsal, and public performance of literature appropriate for jazz, rock, R&B, and popular music ensembles. The course is focused on the skills needed to perform in a large group setting that includes horn sections, vocal sections, and rhythm sections. Assorted styles of musical literature are studied each semester.
