This course is designed to develop basic reading, vocabulary, grammar, and paragraph-writing skills in American English. The course is part of the first level of the ESL sequence, and is designed for non-native speakers of English who can already read, write, and communicate in simple English related to everyday life. Not applicable to associate degree.
