Leadership Communication

Catalog description

In this course students explore and analyze the study of leadership from a communication perspective. Students learn how leadership theory can inform and direct the way leadership is practiced and understood. Traditional and interactional theories of leadership will be analyzed, including the influences of culture and gender on leadership. Emphasis is on theory and practice.
