IT Service Management (ITIL)

Catalog description

The course is designed to introduce IT service systems in a variety of enterprise and service industry settings. The IT history and basic IT service methods are reviewed. Students learn about the key principles and concepts of IT Service Management and the basic concepts and definitions related to the Service Lifecycle. Students gain knowledge of the ITIL (formerly known as Information Technology Infrastructure Library) terminology, structure, and basic concepts and the core principles of ITIL practices for IT Service Management.
