Catalog description
This course covers cell biology, anatomy, and histology and physiology of the following body systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscles, nervous, endocrine, and reproductive. Key concepts covered include homeostasis, structure/function relationships, the physiology of excitable membranes, and interactions of body systems. The course requires cadaver dissection as part of laboratory work. Students need to provide a lab coat, goggles, and a box of latex gloves.
