Catalog description

This course covers the fundamental principles of Level III American Sign Language and is a further study of the Deaf community and Deaf culture. This course is required for students majoring in American Sign Language/Deaf Studies and is a prerequisite for students wishing to enter the Deaf-Centered Interpreting Preparation Program (DCIPP). Students video record ASL production assignments and need an external flash drive, cloud-based storage, or another form of digital repository to save their work. Students are expected to attend a Deaf culture event outside of class at their own expense.
