Algebra and trigonometry-based physics course. Not recommended for physics and engineering majors.? Topics include mechanics in one and two dimensions, fluids, thermodynamics, and mechanical waves and sound. Lecture 3 hours and laboratory 2 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): ?MAT 1305 with a C or better OR MAT 1223 and MAT 1233?with a grade of "C" or better or permission of instructor.
