Both FL 1303 and FL 1313 are designed for studentsbeginning their study of the language. Eachstresses, by means of classroom participation and laboratory recordings, the basic vocabulary and grammatical structures that will enable the student to speak, read, and write Spanish. In addition, students will learn something about the culture of which the Spanish language is an integral part. Lecture 3 hours per week.
