Catalog description

This course is an introductory survey to concepts in theatre arts. Students are introduced to stagecraft, design, and performance. The course covers an overview of acting styles, history, and genres in lecture and open discussion. Students attend live performances and participate in forum discussion and written response regarding the experience. Lecture 3 hours per week.
