Catalog description

This course builds on the security principles learned in CIT 1253 and prepares students on the techniques used by organizations to manage cyber threats. Students will learn how to identify security vulnerabilities and how to effectively manage them. Students will also learn how to respond to security threats through incident response practices and forensic analysis while developing skills with common toolsets. Lecture 3 hours per week. Prerequisites CIT 1253
