Catalog description

This course is for ESL students with minimal knowledge of English. The course develops basic reading, writing, listening and speaking skills for students to meet their immediate needs in their community or workplace. Students in this course learn to ask for simple information and clarification, give personal information orally and in writing, write a response to a simple question and express simple needs, wants, likes and dislikes in English. Placement test required
