Catalog description

This course serves to develop teacher candidates' skillfulness in instructional methods and understanding of the developmental nature of vocabulary development, fluency development, and reading comprehension, evaluation methods and instructional design based on assessment data. Competencies are based on NCSCS and the Science of Reading Development. Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education or permission of the Director of Teacher Education. (F,S)
