Catalog description

This course provides teacher candidates with an overview of the competencies skills and dispositions needed to provide a classroom environment that promotes the academic and social development of students with unique learning needs including, but not limited to, giftedness, disabilities and limited English language. Teacher candidates will explore resources related to meeting the needs of these students in varied contexts, such as family, school and community settings. (F,S)
