Catalog description
This course is an in-depth study of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and their theoretical basis. Explores the contents of and interrelationships among the balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows and statement of owners' equity, along with techniques for preparation, presentation, interpretation and use of such financial statements. Some of the more important accounting standards of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) are included. Prerequisite: BUS 242. (F)
