Combined Field Experience

Catalog description

Prerequisite: Grade of C or better RSS 101, RSS 103, RSS 105, and Consent of program staff or instructor. ^ This is an alternative Field Experience, combining Field I and Field II. Students conduct a field experience in an Substance Use Disorder, and/or Mental Health Disorder and/or Dual Diagnosis treatment program. Students will begin to learn, in vivo, the profession of a Recovery Support Specialists. Completion of this course requires 300 hours of Field Experience.
