Respiratory Diagnostic Testing

Catalog description

Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in RCT 170 and concurrent enrollment in RCT 190 or consent of instructor. ^ Students will be introduced to various diagnostic testing such as Pulmonary Function testing, stress testing, and electrocardiograms. Obtaining arterial blood gases and pulmonary rehabilitation will be discussed. These will be discussed in lecture and then practiced in the lab setting.
