Catalog description

Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in PSY 100 or consent of instructor ^ An inquiry into the causes, assessment and treatment of abnormal behavior. Theories and research findings are studied with a focus on factors related to normal versus deviate patterns of behavioral development. Special emphasis will be placed on various life adjustments and their role in the prevention of maladaptive behaviors as stated in DSM IV-TR.
