Prerequisite: None. ^ This course introduces students to interpreting and applying engineering drawings specifically for machining and manufacturing processes. Topics include orthographic projection, section views, dimensioning, tolerances, thread and hole callouts, surface finish symbols, and basic GD&T. Emphasis is placed on hands-on lab exercises, connecting prints to machined parts, and developing the ability to read and verify drawings for practical machining applications.
