Prerequisite: None ^ The purpose of this course is to develop an understanding of the stress faced by law enforcement officers and identify the sources of stress faced by the police officer, both internally and externally. Obtain an understanding of the physiology of stress, the zone of stability, and the causes of stress in policing. Methods of controlling and responding to stress will be reviewed, including physical and psychological techniques of stress management.
