<p><span style="color: #0000ff;">GEM STAMPED: GEM 5: HUMANISTIC AND ARTISTIC WAYS OF KNOWING</span></p> This course provides a basis for enjoyable listening by discovering stylistic differences between historical eras and the individual composers within the ages and through the awareness of the various performance media. In addition to classical music, this course also explores folk music, popular music, jazz, and selected examples of music from non-Western cultures.
