<p><span style="color: #0000ff;">GEM STAMPED: GEM 4:&nbsp;SCIENTIFIC WAYS OF KNOWING</span></p> This course is a study of the fundamental principles necessary to describe the interaction of atoms and molecules in the various phases of matter, including properties of matter, changes that it undergoes, and energy changes that accompany these processes. Lecture and laboratory topics include unit conversions, stoichiometry, chemical bonding and reactions, kinetic molecular theory, solution chemistry, and kinetics.
