<p><span style="color: #0000ff;">GEM STAMPED: GEM 4: SCIENTIFIC WAYS OF KNOWING</span></p> This is an introductory chemistry course that helps prepare students to understand how chemistry impacts the world around us. Topics can include: An introduction to scientific thought, the importance of measurement systems, the organization of matter, chemical bonding, the nature of carbon/air/water, chemical reactions, acids/bases, as well as others. This is a course for non-science students.
