Catalog description
Descriptive and inferential statistics as they are applied to a variety of research designs in the health and behavioral sciences. Topics include data summary and presentation, measures of central tendency and variability, correlation and regression, probability, sampling and hypothesis testing and using a computer software package to analyze data sets. Prerequisite - MATH 1210 or equivalent with a grade of C (2.0) or better, or appropriate placement test score. Adult Degree Completion students: MATH 1350 or equivalent with a grade of C (2.0) or better, or appropriate placement test score.
