Catalog description

This course aims to introduce students to how culture influences human psychology. We will explore the similarities and differences between (and within) cultures as well as the underlying psychological mechanisms. Students will learn different approaches to studying the impact of culture on human behavior and explain the role of culture in many areas of psychology (e.g., social, cognitive, etc.). Overall, students will be able to acquire an understanding of psychological studies of culture.
