Catalog description

Study of kinesiology and biomechanics related to human motion and occupation, and principles of joint and muscle action related to activity, function, and dysfunction of the moving body. Study and application of principles of activity/task analysis and the relationship to functional performance. Includes basic assessment skills following a biomechanical model - 2 lecture hours. Prerequisites: Concurrent enrollment in OT 4012/OTL 4012 and acceptance into the accelerated OTD program. Corequisite: OTL 4014 - lab.
