Catalog description
This course provides an introduction to nursing research and its role in the study and solution of nursing problems, the improvement of health care, and the development of skills in the analysis/critique of published research, and application to practice. Students will develop a project relevant to a clinical nursing problem or practice issue - 4 theory hours. A letter grade of 'C+' (2.3) or higher is necessary to pass the course. Prerequisites: successful completion of the previous semester's Nursing course work with a 'C+' (2.3) or higher and eligible for senior 1 level standing in the Nursing program.
