Catalog description

Applied Musculoskeletal Anatomy and Biomechanics are an integral part of the principles of kinesiology. This course examines the fundamentals of human motion using the physical sciences and analyzes anatomical concepts related to movement in performance, rehabilitation, injury prevention, and motor skills - 4 lecture hours. Prerequisites: BIO 1000/BIO 1005, BIO 1100/BIO 1105, BIO 2500/2505, CHEM 1600/CHEM 1605 or CHEM 2100/CHEM 2105, PHYS 1000/PHYS 1005 or PHYS 2000/PHYS 2005. All prerequisite courses must be completed with a C- or better.
