SL: Evolution of Human Cltrs

Catalog description

This course will focus on the emergence of human beings and their cultural ability to extract energy from their environment, first in hunter-gatherer cultures; then in agrarian multicultural civilizations; and finally in today’s complex industrial societies. The students will also work with a local community organization on a culture project and a community engagement activity. Satisfies CKE requirement for Nursing majors.
