Catalog description
This course prepares students for historical work in public history careers by grounding them in the latest public history methodologies, theories, and best practices. Students will participate in place-based learning and receive practical experience by conducting client-based research. The work of public historians often requires a distinct set of research skills that moves beyond traditional archive research and historiographical argumentation.
