Catalog description

This course is an overview of population-based public health including epidemiological concepts, descriptive epidemiology, and measurements (statistics) of morbidity and mortality. The major analytic study designs will be explored, demonstrated, and critiqued in the public health and medical literature - 3 lecture hours. Prerequisite: PSY 3187 or equivalent, or consent of instructor. This course is offered in both fall and spring semesters. Co-requisite: GPH 3345
