Catalog description

Focuses on Individual Education Plan (IEP) development and curriculum planning and instruction for students with mild/moderate learning challenges. Candidates will write a complete IEP including transition plans. Candidates will learn how to make adaptations to general education curriculum in order to ensure student success. Knowledge of ethical standards related to laws and regulations that provide equity for students with learning challenges is emphasized.
