BUS 3008 Exploring the World of Business: Developing Your Business Career Network I -- This seminar is designed to help students expand their career potential through internship and career network development. Additionally, students learn more about preparing (personally) for life after university. Students hone networking skills through attending an etiquette dinner, a local business chamber networking event, the BSB career fair, and alumni panel/networking receptions. Support for obtaining internships takes place through business communications refresher seminars, mock interviews, and informational interviews. The student’s personal development includes learning the importance of credit and how to build a sound credit score, and an introduction to building wealth through 401K/403B/profit sharing participation. Required for all business majors.
