Catalog description

This course provides an introduction and exploration of the range of ethical and legal issues that professionals may encounter within the field of sport and performance psychology. Students will examine the theoretical constructs of ethical decision-making and explore issues such as the impact of personal biases on decision-making, transference and countertransference, confidentiality, dual relationships, technology, social media, and boundaries of competence.
