The course exposes students to various marketing processes, concepts, practices and trends relevant in today's business world. Students will study successes, failures, challenges, and movements within the industry to better understand the overall role and function of marketing itself. The course features fundamental principles of the field of marketing, such as product, price, promotion, and place. Students will expand their knowledge to include awareness of marketing environments, global marketing, market segmentation, marketing analytics, public relations, consumer behavior, and digital media integrated marketing communications. Students will participate in various case studies, simulations, and projects throughout the semester.
