Catalog description
A study of the algebraic strategies used for solving various equations and inequalities (linear, quadratic,rational, and radical), the properties of radicals, the arithmetic of polynomial and rational expressions, systems of linear equations and inequalities, and an introduction to functions. Problem-solving skills and critical-thinking skills are emphasized. Face to face sections meet for 5 hours each week.
