Catalog description
The stories of the United States and its people have played out not only in the pages of history books, but also on the American stage. Through the study of diverse plays, theatre practices, and other historical texts from the mid-19th century to the present, this course explores how American theatre has both reflected and shaped myriad cultural identities over time. This course encourages collaborative learning with a focus on critical analysis and creative response.
