Catalog description

Adventure into epic tales, imagined worlds, and new and enduring legends as you explore how myths and/or fantasy stories present human experience, shape cultural values, and help us understand who we are-both as individuals and as part of larger communities. Through reading, discussion, and creative activities, you'll challenge ideas, share perspectives, and discover how fantastic stories can speak to real life and perhaps offer us avenues to envision better worlds for ourselves. Course is repeatable once as the focus changes.
