Catalog description
This studio course challenges students to push their concept art skills to a professional level, focusing on world-building, character and environment design, and narrative-driven illustration. Emphasizing industry-standard workflows, students will refine their ability to create compelling visual stories using advanced traditional and digital techniques. Coursework explores ideation processes, production pipelines, and the integration of various tools to enhance concept art workflows. Classes are supplemented with professional illustrative case studies, emerging market trends, industry guest lectures, and portfolio development.
