Catalog description

This course takes the directing skills and techniques learned in the introductory and intermediate BFA directing curriculum and applies them to an advanced short, low-impact project as a final opportunity for directors to hone their craft prior to directing the Thesis project. Emphasis is on character behavior and action over dialogue in visual storytelling. Students will perform a self-evaluation of their directing and identify their strengths and areas for continued improvement in preparation for directing their BFA Thesis the following semester.
