Catalog description

This introductory course to Sound for Film and Television explores sound production applications, basics of workflow, and post-production sound design emphasizing how sound builds with and expands visual storytelling. Areas covered include theory and aesthetics of sound, digital recorders, mixers, and microphones, metadata, production protocols, pre-production strategies and beginning practices in post-production editing for film and television productions.
