Catalog description

This intermediate studio course emphasizes the development of perceptual and conceptual skills and techniques in ?gurative painting. Students work from direct observation of professional models, costumed and nude. Historic, traditional, contemporary and experimental ?gurative practices will be explored. Painting methods and experimentation with media including oil, acrylic, water-based oils and collage, is highly encouraged.
