This Leadership & Role Transitions for Advanced Practice Nursing course Introduces theories and principles of leadership, communication, interprofessional collaboration, quality improvement, change management, and informatics within advanced nursing practice. Students explore the historical evolution of nursing and nurse practitioner roles, examine core competencies for advanced practice, and discuss contemporary issues influencing the NP profession. Emphasis will be placed on developing professional identity, fostering resilience, and promoting personal well-being and self-care as essential components of effective and sustainable advanced practice nursing.
