Catalog description
The primary focus for this course is preparing teacher candidates for student teaching through completion of coursework assignments and 40 required hours of O&P in a classroom setting that aligns with the content area(s) of the program. Alongside their assigned Host/Mentor Teacher at an approved school placement site, teacher candidates will be given opportunities to implement and adapt strategies and skills learned throughout their Education courses and reflect on their growth and development as an educator.
